On this day back in 1988, the SNM liberated Burco from Afweyn's army. The Somali army was then ordered to wipe Isaaqs off the face of the earth and destroyed Hargeisa and Burco. Somaliland built up everything from the ashes Somalia left us with. Guul Somaliland
