The presence of federal forces in Gedo continued to create tensions between the government in Mogadishu and Kismayo.

On May 3, Somalia’s president, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed “Farmajo,” committed to reforming criminal code provisions that restrict media freedoms and to ending the use of criminal law against journalists. Mid-year, he signed into law a new media law, which while providing for key rights of free expression, contains overly broad content restrictions.

On March 7, National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officials in Mogadishu arrested journalist Mohamed Abdiwahab Nur “Abuja” and held him incommunicado for three months. On August 5, the military court acquitted him of alleged charges of Al-Shabab membership and murder and ordered his release.

On July 29, the Benadir regional court sentenced Abdiaziz Ahmed Gurbiye, the chief editor of Goobjoog Media Group, to six months’ imprisonment and a fine on baseless charges of having insulted a government body and for publishing “fake news” related to the government’s Covid-19 response. His prison sentence was commuted.

Notice they say nothing about puntland? no mention on the speaker being chased at gun point and two of his body guards killed on the parliament floor? no mention on two puntland governors being killed by al shabaab?

no mention on gang rapes happening in puntland and no mention on so many journalist being illegally detained in puntland.

also no mention on targeted assassinations happening in kismaayo, forced evictions and stealing peoples lands in kismaayo no mention at all.

You’re right on this one. Everything is in the hands of foreigners, Somalis are studied how to be divided and kept weak so the NGOs and foreign intelligences can keep doing their nefarious interests. The purpose of NGOs are services without a government, they’ll never be for a strong Somali government, it’ll fuck up the contracts. James Dahl was doing intelligence work here when he was studying us, so was Grant as well. Nobody wants a strong Somalia. Our people are low IQ indeed wallahi. You forget Sidra based in Garowe.

The answer you are looking for is simple and is common practice in the developing world- when you inflate numbers you can request more aid or projects.

Lets take an example for Gedo. There is a al shabab problem, lack of administration problem which is an authority, its basically in the outback as well as many other issues. Also why provide aid for Gedo, when there are 20 other larger towns/cities in Somalia. This is why aid does not go here. This is why aid and projects go to other areas of somalia.

Regarding the figure of 400k in garowe - i believe this includes geeljires and people surrounding areas who come and pass through garowe.

Regarding your statement of Gedo clans - Rahanweyn and bantu are present. Regarding Harti, Beledxaawo is named after a mj woman so there you go
