So I found out migration wasn't 1-way street, Warra Dayya (Wardeey) migrated to Bari and Waqooyi Galbeed before 1900.

The sourcing on this is from thr Ethiopian side which explains why many would find this new information.

Even the Akiisho group known to exist in parts of Waqooyi Galbeed has, true to Somali form, has been assimilated in various degrees and approximated to various components of the Somali lineagr system.

But get this, the Akiisho/Akiisha or Akkichu are themselves Warra Daya and were only the most western section of the migration, close to the original cultural group, it prevented them from full assimilation.

The more eastern they went setting in pockets between the southern part of Waqooyi Galbeed to Bari coast, the more fully assimilated they became.

How fascinating wallahi as there is almost zero Somali referencing of this like all things about the Somali nomadic groups and the dynamic history of the lineage system.

Is there anyone who has come across anything or information relating to this? Anything is appreciated wallahi!

Also, I am not stupid or unaware about Somali culture so this is why I have presented nothing specific or referenced directly because inevitably there is the risk of a flame war given our history of immaturity understanding and processing some of the historically practical reasons for the dynamism of our lineage system.

I am actually looking for information from YOU; soliciting anything from the Somali side that would effectively either be sufficiently critical of the Ethiopian claim and/or contribute to through greater context. Anything is wanted. It is fascinating claim to me

Gubbet,

Ppl don’t understand how sensitive you are to other communities perception of themselves. You don’t weaponize information which is good.
