Last time I checked, it wasn't Farmaajo that was delaying the election. It was not Farmaajo that kept refusing every single meeting. It was Puntland and Jubbaland with the help of the Mucaarad that were playing the delay tactics. So technically, the failed extension worked and has made these spoilers accept the reality of a speedy election. The failed extension was ploy for these spoilers to get back to the 27th September agreement which they were adamant to change. And their wishes did not succeed.
