Cooperation is always better than war.
MX position in J/L has never been in doubt and anyone who thinks otherwise is being foolish.
The only issue is that a sizeable minority of MX believed they could recreate the JVA in 2021.
If MX come to terms with Ogaden, perhaps with a Hiirshabelle style Gentleman's Agreement, the region could be cleared of AS filth and foreign forces.
I still believe of all the regions of Somalia J/L has the most potential.
There will never, ever be something as fundamentally unjust, grossly unfair, and intolerably corrupt as a "Gentlemen's Agreement" anywhere Marehan settle.
I don't think you know Marehan culture at all.
Marehan is the clan "AYAX TAG, EELNA REEB" was said because of---when Ayax Dhoore, the famous Madhibaan wordsmith of Mudug migrated from multiple clans because of maltreatment and harassment/discrimination...
...only to settle among Marehan and live a long life among them until his death.
He was immediately embraced, welcomed, and given protection. When he lived amongst the reer Khalaf of Majerten, he was their chief poet even as an unappreciated discriminated against human being After he left and settled comfortably among the Marehan, reer Hagar of Dhulbahante sent a poem to reer Khalaf insulting them. reer Khalaf decided they needed to bring Ayax back to defend them with his poetry. Ayax's reply to Majeerteen was AYAX TAG, EELNA REEB. (THE LOCUST LEFT, BUT HE LEFT HIS LARVAE)
And then he recited this famous Mudug saying he had no desire to part ways with the Marehan who treated him so well
Debec iyo wanaag baan ka helay deris Mareexaane
Reer Diini oo idili waa ii dabaaldegaye
SETTLED IN WARMTH, MAREHAN LAVISHLY SPOILS TO DELIGHT
MY HUMANITY IS VALUED, BY ALL THE SONS OF DIINI!
Ayax tag eelna reeb is a pub on his name and the fact AYAX ALSO MEANS LOCUST.
The locust left, but he left his larvae means AYAX LEFT YOU, AND HE LEFT YOU PROBLEMS.
Every single child who is a resident of Jubbaland, boy or girl, Cushite or Bantu, Samaale or Sab, Maxaa Tiri speaking or Maay speaking, Nomad or Farmer, and especially Artisanal (Madhibaan/Yibir, etc) or Unskilled deserve to be equally informed about their equal opportunity and chance for every single possibility in Jubbaland as anyone else.
I will be the first one to fight against any such fundamentally immoral and unjust institution ever even being possibility anywhere I call home..
