The Hawaadle believed in a consperiacy theory that the Kacaan was trying to steal Hiraan and give it to Ogaden as a result of Ogaden refugees being reseattled a lot in Hiraaan. Hawaadle and Ogaden are big enemies not like HG and Ogaden alliance. So the Hawaadle went into a refugee cam and cut the trow of 500 Ogaden civlians and the dead bodies kicked into the River it was one of the most nasty masscarces during the civil war. No No the SPM claimed Aideed was the new President of Somalia which made Abgaal very angry since Ali Mahdi claimed to be the new president. The Mahdi wing of USC attacked the SPM with a surprise attack and killed a lot of sleeping Ogaden boys.

After the govt fled Mogadishu it became a battle between Hag and Darood.

The OGs and MJ for whatever reason decided to break ranks......it is ironic that these two clan's civilians were slaughtered like goats.

We can reasonably speculate that if the Darood front had held up there would have been a stalemate perhaps and negotiations on forming a new govt could have occurred.

Instead due to the treachery the Darood front collapsed and the hagites went on a decades long rampage.
