Biggest lie spread about Baladweyne is that it is divided into east and west where "Bari" is Hawadle vs 13 tribes("Xaqsoor") who live on the west bank of the river. Baladweyne consists of four neighborhoods two on the west of the river and two on the east. Three of these neighborhoods Hawadle make up the majority of them which are Xaawo Taako and Kooshin in the east of the city. All the administration, the army, the police, the hospital and the airport are located in these two neighborhoods that why the bari is known as hawadle side because it's the main town.

As for the western side, there is the Buuundoweyn neighborhood, whose residents are mostly Hawadle and some Jareer and Carabs. the vegetable, crops, and grain marketmarket is located in this neighborhood this is where they export from to the other regions North of Hiiraan

This neighborhood is located in the south of the city. Only to the west and northwest of the city there is a Hawlwadaag the majority of which is Gugundhabe(Gaaljecel and Jijeele) and Jareer which is the direction of Bakool and not in the direction of the Soouth I mean, you cannot go to Xamar through it this road will lead you to Bakool, Xudur and Baidoa and Tiyeeglow. In the southwest is Buundoweyn as you can see from the map maybe through lower shabelle. From jalalaqsi to Jowhar west of the river is Hawadle. you cant enter Jowhar from North through Gaaljecel only through the South and its East Abgaal.

Gaaljecel but they r very isolated only are conntected to Baladweyne from one side that goes to bakool. they are mostly nomadic clan and majority of them live in the two shabaeele followed by Hiiraan and then jubooyinka. Their biggest subclans live in shabeelooyinka we have smaller subclans in Hiiraan but are their ugaases.

every gaaljecel subclan has different interests some are against Al shabaab mosly in lower shabelle some are with Al shabaab in Hiiraan.

I like the presidency bc alot has changed in Baladweyne in these 4 years we like to have our autonomy as reer Hiiraan who r not the top 3 clans in Mogadishu. when your the president you will be independent. if not Baladweyne as the Capital to develpe it there will be balance and checks and can exercise some control of the State. its not like Jowhar who we share one neighbourhood with Gaaljecel and live in near by villages.
