Rooble is delaying the selection
it is clear now that the person delaying the selection of 2021 is rooble as he wants to keep hold of his PM position as long as possible.
now the excuse he is using for the lower house selection delay is lack of funds. the international community gave him $7.7 million for the upper house selection. i don't even think a combined $20000 was spent on the whole thing. the rest was pocketed by Rooble and FMS. and now they want 20 to 40 million dollars for the lower house? when he all know it will be exactly like the upper house.
the international community should give him nothing and tell him to get on with selection. Rooble is former NGO and this is typical NGO move.

Re: Rooble is delaying the selection
If what you are saying is actually true then can you blame him since he is currently in charge of the FG and probably will never be president. Let him enjoy the limelightNomand wrote: it is clear now that the person delaying the selection of 2021 is rooble as he wants to keep hold of his PM position as long as possible.

Re: Rooble is delaying the selection
I doubt he is. You just can’t satisfy Somalis. There will always be one group who are up in arms about elections/selection process. If I were him, I’d stick to the agreement signed with the FMS and tell people to take it up with their state leaders if they have issues.
Re: Rooble is delaying the selection
Of course, Rooble will benefit from the delay but not to extend himself. after two weeks he will celebrate one year of his assumption of this office. what Rooble wants is to raise money to get rich, fund his campaign and buy the MPs' votes. The external support for the elections is more than $20 million and they pay in installments($7m so far) to make sure that the elections are almost clean and fair. Therefore, the last conference between Rooble and the FMS leaders was about securing the rest of the external support and they told them not before you correct the process(Habraaca) so they had meetings with FEIT and MM trying to convince the MM and involve them in the matter not in the conference but in the Habraac correction committees. Without external support the elections cannot continue so it will not take place as scheduled.
The points on which MM and FMS differ are; 5 people will choose the voters(ergada) for each mp two of them from the "civil society" are selected by the FMS and three of them are the elders who are registered by the FMS!
But before that the voters have to pay $30 to obtain a certificate of good conduct using the Al shabaab Card for fear its influence on the elections and here the FMS can exclude those they do not like them!(CID isbaaro)
They also are using the woman’s quota. Instead of their qabiils/Ugaases, they can distribute Jufo seats to men and women. If they are against a man, they will give his seat to a woman and if they are against a woman they will give her seat to a man even can change the jufo and replace it with another Jufo!
how can this will be fixed? the most important is FEIT wich if it becomes against it they get a penny out of beesha caalamka so they r threatening cirro with Motion of no confidence from within! who will pay for this corruption?

Re: Rooble is delaying the selection
Somalia’s probably the only country in the world, where another country pays for their election. We became so desensitized we think it’s normal!

Rooble is the dark horse this is his best chance to run for the presidency, he will never get opportunity like this ever again. he can rig the election in his favor

The only cure for Somalia is balkanization. Yugoslavia's cure was balkanization and look where they are today. Yugoslavia split into 7 different sovereign countries and all 7 countries are doing very well compare to when Yugoslavia was intact as one country.Murax wrote: Fri Aug 27, 2021 2:18 am Somalia’s probably the only country in the world, where another country pays for their election. It's time Somalia is divided into 5 to 6 different countries. Each of these countries will have access to the sea too.

Watch very closely. The parliament will hold an emergency session soon which will vote against Rooble and remove him as the Prime Minister.Jimbie wrote: Wed Sep 08, 2021 3:37 pmConfirmed.. roble is the dark horse.. will he get slain by farmajo ?
