What if Dahabshiil is boycotted or expelled from the South?

Post by abrahamic33 »

Dahabshiil makes millions of dollars a year from its operations in the South and Southern citizens who live abroad.

One way to change the behavior of extreme elements in Somaliland is to boycott Dahabshiil all over the South and abroad. You can't call us foreigners like Ethiopians and then profit from us like a local business. Dahabshiil should be treated like a foreign company in the South.

If I were in charge in Koonfur Galbeed, I would make Dahabshiil pay for the properties stolen in Las Anod. It's time to make Somaliland pay financially for their blunders.

Muuse Biixi thinks that racism towards the South will help his re election. He lacks the wisdom of legend, M Haji Ibrahim Igal.

Dahabshiil is independent from Muuse Biixi's regime, so it shouldn't be boycotted. Only the interests of Muuse Biixi and his few supporters should be targeted. Beyond that, you're only making life more difficult for the difficult life of the average reer Waqooyi whom Biixi's regime is holding hostage. Long term, Muuse and his few supporters should be removed from office.

Darod tribe is small and if it decides to boycott dahabshiil it won’t affect dahabshiil in anyway.

Darod can’t win economic war with isaaq since isaaq is bigger and much much wealthier than isaaq. It would be like Congo trying to boycott US companies
