1) Was forcing Farmaajo into accepting a 2 year deal to recognize Madoobe. the current culture of rigging and stealing is a direct result of this decision. This is by far their biggest regret it opened a Pandora box of never seen before rigging, shameless rigging and open broad daylight rigging.

2) was when they said the election model has to be accepted by all parties -- this is what caused the 1 year delay. where a single FMS can basically hold the election hostage like we saw with puntland until it gets what it wants. no where in history do all parties agree unanimously normally the decision from the majority wins. The international community saw their error and have recently walked back from that by saying if 3 of the FMS start the lower house then we will release the election funds. they have also shut the door on MM's demands.

One thing is for sure the international community has given failmajo the go ahead to rig the elections even if it leads to violence.

The mother of all corruption is Madoobe and the international community have recognized it which is why the reelection of farmaajo which they opposed 1 year ago, do no longer oppose it today. As for the people of Mogadishu that is funny. the people of Kismaayo who get killed daily and have their houses and properties stolen by Madoobe have not even taken up arms. The current crop of Somali youths are softies brought up by hindi films and tiktok.

there are a few mooriyaan from middle shabeele left who will be wiped out soon. The days of clan wars and dying for a clan elder is gone. Small skirmishes based on wells and grazing lands is the only thing left.

Now even the UK who hold a special status in the security council when it comes to Somalia. have backed Farmaajo's plan and thrown away the AU proposal of AMISOM in Somalia.

It is clear as daylight they have regrets over 1) madoobe deal and 2) unanimous election process. coupled with what happened in Afganistan there is no way the international community want the corrupt MM leading somalia.

Farmaajo 4 year term he paid soldiers on time and got rid of ghost soldiers. Two things which caused Afghanistan's downfall was ghost soldiers and not paying the soldiers. The Americans where the one footing the bill but it was going in corrupt Afghan officials bank accounts.
