That was a very interesting hearing (with a staggering 26k comments, which would entertain me for few hours). Many of the commenters found it more interesting than Netflix programs. The gesture and way the entitled Abrams snapped before Ilhan finished her statement should be a case study of psychology. He was like "how can a qaxooti talk to, question me this way, I the privileged who built & rules this country." She did a good job of putting him in his place, and even manged to humiliate him. Of course, on her own, she couldn't have managed it, as she was schooled on what to expect & how to respond. I suspect she had a tablet from where she was reading how/what to respond in real time. Abrams is the type of person I wouldn't do business with.

Personally, I find her English command to be satisfactory, better than Arnold Schwarzenegger who was in politics for years. There many who can speak better than her, but would flop in public, especially when making speeches, interviews or during debates. What she lacks in perfect command of English, she has other qualities to compensate for it. In this aspect, she reminds me of Farmaajo, whom many geeljires fault him for not being a poet.
