I really don't see that happening. If northern Mudug did join Galmudug that would only increase the Darod powersharing in Galmudug. I say go for it.

Northern Mudug is settled by multiple Darod subclans, namely MJs, Leelkase, Yusuf Darod and possibly other I don't even know of right now. If you add those with the Sade in Mudug and Galgudud, you'll have a sizable Darod representation in Galmudug that could potentially challenge HG representation. If that happens, you'll have Puntland, Galmudug, Jubbaland as three Member States with major Darod political and economical influence. I mean it kinda already is like that.
