Farmajo is losing very badly, BUT.....

Post by BigBreak »

There's a rumour I read online that he is planning to make beesha Duduble become the next parliamentary lower house speaker.....meaning Rahanwein must be either President or (more likely) Prime Minister of Somalia

What's wrong with that? Don't Rahanwein have every right to hold the Presidential or PM position just like any other tribe?

So, Farmaajo is 'planning', yet 'losing'? You aren't making sense.

Is that in the constitution or 'gentleman's agreement'?

Farmajo is losing severely in these fake parliamentary elections. RX should never forget what happened in late 2018

They're also not forgetting the atrocities maamulka WG did to them.

Wax mucaarid la dhaho oo principle leh ma jiro in Somalia. The most ardent mucaarid today can easily be bought and turn into "guulwado" type of mu'ayid tomorrow.

I think it’s in the constitution and genetlemen agreement both
Since 1960 Up to 1991. There has been only one non darood and hawiye prime minister

From 1991 up to now there has been no rahanweyn dir Bantu or other Somali prime minister or president. Except for either daarood and hawiye. It’s pretty much constitutional

It's a gentleman's agreement. I challenge anyone to quote the relevant section in the (current or past) constitution, if there's even such an absurd written agreement. If such a written agreement existed, Somalia would be the laughing stock of the world. There are many such absurd unwritten rules or agreements in Somalia that have no place in the 21st century.

This elections is Qatar vs UAE. They are fighting for who will rule us.

Farmajo is still the favourite as he has Qatar backing him. It will come down to farmajo vs uae candidate. I think Deni is the only one who can beat him from the UAE camp.

That's incorrect. Allow me to correct your misinformation.

Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal was the 1st Prime Minister of the Somali Republic from 01 July 1960 - 12 July 1960 and he was also the 4th Prime Minister of the Somali Republic from 15 July 1967 - 21 October 1969. Egal was not a Hawiye or Darod. He was from the Isaq clan.

Hawadle Madar was the 6th Prime Minister of the Somali Democratic Republic from 3 September 1990 - 24 January 1991. He was not a Hawiye or Darod. He was from the Isaq clan.

Umar Arte Qalib was the 7th Prime Minister of the Interim Government of Somalia from 24 January 1991 - May 1993 or 3 January 1997 (De facto). Qalib was not Hawiye or Darod. He was from the Isaq clan.

Mahdi Mohammed Gulaid was the 24th Acting Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia from 25 July 2020 - 23 September 2020. He's not Hawiye or Darod. He's from the Isaq clan.

Dream on, son! Our founding fathers have , in their wisdom, enshrined in the Skinny constitution, that no clan (particularly Faqash, just kidding) shall ever occupy Villa Somalia in consecutive terms. Tookadan waa toornadii beel weynta Hawiye, khaas ahaan beesha Sacad oo si casdi aheyn in mudo ah madaxweynimada laga cuna qabateeyey.
