Yes they are powerful but their base in Bosaso and not Garowe, that's why I think Karaash went there before this announcement.
the problem with Karaash is he still recognizes Deni as president he's merely ruling while he's away,he should've said I'm the real president and not just the acting president, otherwise you will be going back to be a useless VP when Deni comes back and he will get rid of you.

he is working towards that. he is doing it step by step. once he has all the ministers he under his control. he will then focus on the parliament by calling for an emergency meeting thus bringing parliament together where they will then vote for a new speaker, since deni took the actual speaker with him to Mogadishu.

once that happens there will be a full mooshin and karaash will be declared as president and he will name assad diano as VP.
