I am back from Jigjiga 2 days ago. A somali tribe is using Cafars against Ciise and they're not OGs since they don't reside there. Fill in the blanks. To my horror, Jaarso are now claiming of being Somali. When i asked most of them, they said they claimed Oromo because of their conflict with Geri then days.

It is simply weaker clans using Cafar and Oromo against big clans.

I had family recently pass through Jigjiga and they told me it was difficult to find a restaurant that wasn't selling pork.

What has happened to Ogadens......they claim to control all districts and regions and yet it seems DDSI is being overrun by Oromo and highlanders.

What has happened to the independence movement?
Was it crushed by Iley and then he was discarded after completing the dirty work.

I don't buy that Canfar are being used by other Somalis.
The Canfar have recently been armed to the teeth by Ethiopia and Eritrea to fight Tigreans. They don't need any encouragement to attack Cisse.....its in their blood.

The Somali ethnic frontier in the North and South is under siege by Canfar and Boran. The centre is being flooded with Amhara and Oromo. What are Ogadens doing?

Those are either gurgure or gadabuursi. Only those two clans deeply hate ciise. They would use any thing against them.

OD, you can get food with high-end hotels like Istanbul, sahal, International, Nogob etc, as well as multiple medium restaurants. As far as non-Somalis concerned, the reason they're in Jigjiga is all about manpower. There are multiple infrastracture in the city with little skilled Somalis hence the non-Somalis. I was flabbersgasted the skills of the non-somalis. They drilled a well in my house as little as $2000.

Somalis, either work in office or sit at bars. They're lacking skills or looking down these jobs. Masonry, carpenter, engineers, even crop harvesters are non-Somalis. Investors want manpower. Your average Somali is either working in office, market, or doing shaxaad in his daily life.

We, Somalis lacking skills. Untill we change the mentality of dispising these skilled jobs we would be in this status-quo.
