Somalis are a million miles away from uniting.
Every village across the country is at war against the neighbouring village. Drugs, alcohol and all kind of vice is flooding into the country. Every political leader is rushing to our enemies to sell themselves and people out.

Outright imperial you end up getting less. The status quo of Somalia basically being a buffet actually works better. Take Israel, and Palestine. Israel for all intents, and purposes have annexed it, however it actually works a whole lot better for them controlling it unoffically.
