Al shabab attack on hayat hotel

Post by MrSinister »

AUN all those people who died.

I’d hate to make this political, but HSM failed leadership is to blame for this. What kind of message do you send to al Shabab when you put their former members who planned similar attacks as cabinet members in government. HSM has emboldened shabab terrorists. Instead of focusing on security in Mogadishu, he was going around begging poor African nations for weeks.

At this point, blaming HSM or his leadership doesn't help & cannot be faulted. Mahad Salaad was part of badbaado qaran (that you supported) who was instrumental in selecting HSM, hence why it's logical that Mahad is rewarded with a high position. You yourself would have rewarded Salaad if he helped you, so one has to wonder why you're faulting HSM or his leadership.

C'mon, let's not pretend our woes start and end with gurguurte, infinitely more inept though he be than any of his predecessors.

If HSM and the so called baadbaado qaran give us much energy to fighting Shabab as they did to fighting farmajo, most Somali’s would support them. Of course he’s at fault, this is his second presidency and he knows the security issues in Mogadishu, but he is ignoring it and would rather enrich himself and the criminals he’s surrounded himself with. There is too many internal and external enemies who are benefiting from the suffering of reer Mogadishu.

The standard should much higher for him as it is his second term. He’s actually worse than before which I didn’t think was possible

I predict HSM continued blunders coupled with the election of a PL president sympathetic to Daroodism will lead to Farmaajo’s return to the Villa in 2026.

I agree we need farmaajo back. Back then we had peace under fahad yaasin oh and October 14 2017 it happened at farmaajo's term infancy so we can't really blame him. I totally agree under farmaajo we had absolute peace and fahad yasin was not alshabab.

Let's be honest.....there is a section of Hag business elite and political class whom have no interest in peace and development.

The status quo benefits the political class, in their minds everything is rosy......super profits.....mansions and family abroad......no accountability or rule of law.

I really can't see a way to overcome this malaise.
The end of Somalia is very near.

I have to say I agree with OD this has been going on for years so I blame hags negligence and failure to extinguish these JAREER iyo elaay parasites who are right now the bulk of the never ending recruitment supply from albastaryaal. This is their city so buck stop there. You failed to stop the ongoing onslaught of your citizen and instead chose to accept as norm like it is vitamin C

Those folks are better than you're in most ways. Somalia would be 100% better if they ruled.

Here is AAW talking about this new and dangerous culture of welcoming former al Shabab members into government

To be fair to HSM, farmajo started this with putting the likes of qaroole in government.

If HSM was smart, he would put the likes of former mudug governor sanyare in government and not Robow. Al Shabab has been completely defeated in PL because the people and leaders there have no tolerance for them. While in the south they are protected by their clansmen.
