Mps in Somaliland vote to increase their own salary

Recently the old men sitting in the guurti of Somaliland voted to give themselves an extra 5 years in power

Now the mps of the SL Parliament gave themselves a pay rise and they will receive $4000 per month

I think too many of you have been living overseas for too long.

There is no accountability for Somali politicians.
They are corrupt, self serving and incompetent.

good thing is a lot of the diaspora are now young people who won’t bother to send money back home, right now remittance is subsiding the people back home, going forward that will decrease

Sending welfare back home = no accountability
