Wacadallah young Ugaas Keyse of the house of Ali Abogne Ugaasate of the Marehan of the central plateau laguma hungoobin!

When folks like Bah Hawiye of Balanbale welcomed him with a tribute of 200 camels [with baarqab]

Or Reer Siyaad Xussein of Bangeelle with a tribute of 100 camels [with baarqab]

Just those investments worth 1/2 a million dollars by now---hankii loo hayey laguma hungoobin!

Cadceed iftiinkeedu soo baxduu noqday & Sade couldn't be more ecstatic!

They are paying tribute in songs---from just the past weeks!

As they are paying tribute in poems---from just this week!

You know a Prince is trailed by Glory when his people are more ecstatic after the start of his era than they were at the inauguration of it.

War Ugaaska Cali Xaabuun libin buu sidaa!

Wardheer iyo Shilaabo, labaduba waa in xoog loo degaa.

Can you believe Warder town wasn't even a settlement; it was the small triangle of open seasonal wells with the 3 points in the 📐 being;

1. Garloogubay --- the Western and southwestern entrance into the watering wells historically settled in fluctuating ood by Absame

2. Walwaal --- the Northern entrance historically settled in fluctuating ood by Harti especially Dhulbahantaha Hawdeed

3. Marehan Farise (Mareexaan Fadhiistay)--- the eastern and southeastern entrance settled in fluctuating ood by the Marehan of Buuro & the Rer Bicidyahan that came from Galaadi

Guess what happened to those 3 camping grounds that were the only settlements in "Wardheer."

Think of the inverse to 1-3 above;

3. Marehan Farise --- erased from history
2. Walwaal --- sidelined to irrelevance
1. Garloogubay --- Relevant, but downgraded & left to Geri after "OG" moved out to establish "unshared" Warder "village" in political push

You can try to erase from history, but it doesn't mean you can extinguish real memory---the road out of Warder town towards Galaadi is STILL, to this day, called by all rer Doollo of all clans as Jidka "MAREHAN FARISE" :stylin:

mareexaan fariisye is the old school heart of MX before the Guri migration, today it is settled exclusively by MJ, but its not far from Miirkhalif where we are still heavily present, infact by population MX is majority in Miirkhalif, during the dry season our camels went past miirkhalif and to Buhodle outskirts where they had a little rain and doog before returning when the rain started in our deegaan, this is still within MX sphere despite being very old place, we naturally left ages ago, and I don't even like saying shit like "we migrated" , in reality Wardheer shaqo kumaba lehin apart from it being capital of Doolo and having a few migrants there, it is Cagdheer wells for at least 2 centuries.

Where as Shilaabo is no different to Balanbale, so if you see what I am saying the comparing of the two is totally wrong. Wardheer is OG, now shared with MJ, while Shilaabo is MX now ruled by EFG and its environ taken by Bah Gerri, CAyr and Makahil.

So take back Shilaabo Bah Hawiyo and stop the excuses.

What are you talking about? Also what does this have to do with Bah-Hawiye or any Marehan "sub-clan"?

Shilabo the settlement =/= Shilabo the territory

There has "never" been a Marehan "community" living in Shilaabo "settlement."

Shilaabo the settlement is barely even a "town." It is still for all practical intents a "village"------a politicized, created village to "Ogadenize" Shilabo territory like "Warder" was a politicized created village to "Ogadenize" Hawd.

Regardless of whether it is a town or village, a key difference with Warder here is the "settlement" of Shilabo itself does not even reflect Shilabo the historical "territory"---much more politically engineered than Warder "settlement" which is more representative of the "territory" it claims.

In an ideal natural administrative organization, Balanbale would be the capital of a Shilabo "territory"---and they can call Shilabo "settlement" Doh or whatever else it really naturally implicates.

And Marehan, for one, has actual history in the physical space that Warder "settlement" was built on and still live in its suburbs. Whereas Marehan has no memorable history, at all, in the physical space that Shilaabo "settlement" was built on top of along with the fact the bulk of the southern-most Marehan of Shilabo "territory" did actually migrate.

They did because that is me; myself---and not just me, but my entire mag/diya group who are overwhelmingly in Gedo today. In fact, Chief Nuur Shareeco founded Tuulo Barwaaqo; the biggest village in Garbahaarey district. Tuulo Barwaaqo today is practically half the size of "Warder" and "Shilabo" settlements.

So the southern-most Marehan who did graze furthest in Shilabo "territory" in places such as Lababar and Baarmagoog---haven't even been able to settle in Shilabo "settlement"" because the bulk had a unique migration period out last triggered by the SSDF and Menguste capture of Balanbale and harrying Marehan throughout Shilabo "territory."

So not only have Marehan never lived in "Shilabo" the "village"---but the point of this topic is celebration that they have returned back to grazing even previously retreated from zones in Shilaabo the "territory"---previously affected by actual emigration + unique political targeting.

It is actually even the inverse to "Warder" where it is a stone throw away from Buuro AND Marehan have an actual continuinz uninterrupted historical presence in the "space" of Warder settlement.

But all of this aside---why does me saying Marehan should settle in both Warder and Shilabo the "settlements" trigger your negativity and even instituting an attack within Marehan?

And I am being entirely superficial---because I already know you are being superficial.

Now get outta my focking topic, because this is not the past, I am "not" entertaining your hatred of Marehan while larping as one. Skadadal dude!

So the southern-most Marehan who actually did graze closest to modern Shilabo town in places such as Lababar and Baarmagoog---haven't even because the bulk had a unique migration period last triggered by the SSDF and Menguste capture of Balanbale.

So not only have Marehan never lived in "Shilabo" the "village"---but the point of this topic is the fact they have returned back to grazing even previously retreated from due to actual migration + unique beariing of political previous political pressure.

Shilaabo is a Bah Hawiyo deegaan, its a MX deegaan in recent history, there are written documents in the UN stating Shilaabo comes under MX jurisdiction, it was only taken by Ethiopia few decades ago, while MX settled there for centuries.

To this day Shilaabo is controlled by EFG, its a Magaalo admin right now its not a regular woreda, it has also been its own zone for some time prior to that, it has had gudomiye from clans who don't settle there, like the Bicidyahan from Galaadi and the current Gumcadle from Qarsooni korkeed.

Its blatant that the administrative peculiarity of Shilaabo is due to its missing native population aka Bah Hawiyo, this is why I support the Ugaas saying go to Shilaabo.

Im not triggered or attacking you Voltage I am stating some facts and agreeing with the Ugaas

My father was born in Khelafo hospital and we vacated Burfule village "most" closest to Shilabo "settlement" of all and any Marehan over 60 years ago.

You don't know what the fock you are talking about. You are ignorant and larping. And most of all superficial, because I am the one who said Marehan should expand to and settle in Shilabo AND Warder "settlements"(who claim to be the capitals of their territories) which received nothing but your hatred and attack. Get out of my focking topic, I am not entertaining your bullshit.

☝️Is a non-Marehan person larping as Marehan (probably as close as his "rer abti") and they have been doing it for ages.

P.S. By process of simple deduction, after identifying the salient point is push ∆Warder this way "<"|∆Marehan this way ">" it should not be that difficult to identify the point behind a long intrigue.

Because you attacked Marehan and you have always attacked Marehan; preemptively without any solicitation and with an expression profoundly of bad faith.

And most intolerably, inspiring unusual anger in me; the entire effect presents itself with the objective to "disrupt" or "deviate," spoiling from within, all discussion around a very important subject for the aforementioned people.

Note: Contextual Explanation of my earlier responses

  • Marehan are not from Shilabo "settlement."
    • Shilabo "settlement" itself is peripheral to Shilabo "territory."
      • The settlement was historically established a ~100 years ago to politically "unlink" Marehan & Shilabo territory.
      • It was the Abysinnian garrison overlooking "Higloole" in the broader "Doh" or Doobawayn territory between Faf (Abysinnian garrison: Qabri Dahar) & Baaarey (Abysinnian garrison: Kelafo)
    • The settlement of "Shilabo" is at the border of historical Shilabo valley; it is really as much Shilaabo "territory" as Beled-Weyne is Mudug "territory" or Garowe is Waqooyi "territory."
  • Marehan, however, are both from and are the absolute majority of Shilaabo "territory."
    • The "grazing" land is the "territory" is the gold, the diamond, and the silver. It is why Marehan even was or is still in "Shilabo."
      • The permanent wells of "Kabacad" (Laasocaano to Ceel Baxay ) are northern veins of Shilaabo territory.
      • The permanent wells of "Ernuune" (Garasle to Fadhigaraadle) are the central veins of Shilaabo territory.
      • The permanent wells of "Ceelgaab" (Ceel Habreed to Lababaar) are the southern veins of Shilaabo territory.
    • 2/3 of the permanent wells and 80% of the grazing land---which is the entire importance to Shilaabo---are in the hand of Marehan. [Kabacad + Ernuune]
      • 1/2 of the rest (southern Ceelgaab) no one uses since Marehan were expelled in 1982 (Ceel Hebreed wells) and is a no man's land (quite literally even ENDF will destroy any settlements or "berkad," or if they don't Marehan will; 12 Cayr berkeds have been destroyed between 2015-2021). [This borders Matabaan district of Hiiraan]
      • The other 1/2 that is left (northern Ceelgaab) is contested between Bah Geri and the Cayr whom they allowed to settle in the furthest part of where Marehan were expelled from in 1982 (Lababaar wells).[This is part of Feerfeer district bordering Shabelle River]
Basically, Marehan have never "desired" the "settlement" of Shilabo and nor is it really even important to the broader territory.

The settlement itself was originally very politically picked from the furthest part from Marehan in the larger territory and is peripheral or on the borderline of the "territory" of Shilaabo.

In many ways, "Balanbale" is the defacto capital of Shilaabo "territory", even if the settlement of Shilaabo has dejure authority. It is also the largest town; far larger than Shilabo settlement.

When I said Marehan should go and "settle" in Shilabo settlement along with Wardeer "settlement"---I meant politically embrace the "system" of accepting Ethiopia and instituting investment in the "official" administrative center.

Homeboy comes back with manipulative delegitimization discourse historically even made to try to "otherize" Marehan and "unlink" Marehan and the territory.

Shilaabo "settlement" is irrelevant as far as equity; Marehan has the bulk of the territory and is even resurging to retake all grazing lost.

And the settlement has not only been irrelevant but has had 0 value to Marehan--which is why it was picked from the periphery of the territory to begin with.

But Warder is both historical Marehan equity and has continuing value.

It is a special kind of "manipulation"---with direct political implications of trying to delegtimize Marehan equity---that would "surrender" Warder from Marehan and wave Shilabo "settlement" as a rouse/red herring.

No, but Marehan should definitely "now" start settling in both administrative settlements now that we are embracing the system brought into existence over 80 years ago!
