It's hard to say right now......this was a purely spontaneous uprising by the people after a series of massacres and other atrocities.

The people have only one immediate objective and that is to expell the iidoor from our lands. We are all united in this endeavour.

After the iidoors are gone.....and they will be inshallah, we will probably hold a grand conference to decide the fate of our people.

Some want to be part of pl and others lean more towards sl. I think the best option would be to chart a middle course and form a provisional FMS.

It all depends on what hsm regime decides to do. In the past he has wisely stayed out of Northern affairs. However, the situation is totally different now. The government in Mogadishu must recognise the rights of its Dhulbahante citizens to remain part of Somalia.

I heard there are moves in the national assembly to pass a motion recognising Dhulbahante self determination. Not sure if it's true......you would probably know more about that than me.

I would end by saying most Dhulbahante want brotherly relations to continue with the iidoors........we have by and large been conflict free since 1990, and have enjoyed freedom of movement, goods and services.

The question is will hawiye led gov accept dhulo state which will be based on tribe rather than 2 regions? SSC is misleading name - khatumo is half of sool and buhodle village in togdheer - that can’t be a state under current fgs rules

Best solution for all is Mogadishu gets back darod regions in eastern sool and eastern sanaag in exchange for giving recognition to rest of Somaliland

Dhulbahante doesn't need culusow nor biixi. They can standalone by themselves.
