SL are inside the city as per visual evidence and hold most of the city where as the SSC is on the eastern side portion but majority of the city is under Biixi. The reason the SSC are holding out there is because they are using the houses as labyrinth whereas SL are using bombardments to draw them out.

Biixi will not withdraw from Laascaanod otherwise he will become unpopular in SL and would risk his own life hence he won't withdraw from it at any conditions it is non-negotiable from Isaaq point of view.

How many times has SL and PL fought like 5-7 times where everytime SL won they simply outlasted and outgunned them and this time won't be any different.. The Habar Jeclo are the most aggressive of them and slightly insane never meet a Habar Jeclo who was fully okay you got a war on your hands abti they have already thrown bodies at the front lines and deployed upto 4-5 divisions.

Whatever happens in the end there will have to be some kind of negotiations. One thing is for sure, the status quo will never remain the same again. Whatever happens there will always be a pre and post conflict reality on the ground. Things will not return to the way it was before the conflict regardless of whoever 'wins' in the end. The town is still controlled by the SSC and the SL army are still heavily present not far outside of the town. The stalemate will most likely remain the same. The outcome I think will most likely occur is that there will be too much pressure for negotiations and the SL army will withdraw to Oog and then negotiations will begin.
