Seems Oromos, Amharics are slowly pushing Somali East within Ethiopia. Primary reason for this is probably because Somalis their clans as nations in and of themselves. Hard to fathom now but can you imagine Oromos capturing Somali towns in say 30 years?

They've already taken over "somali" towns. You mean in Somalia? that wont happen as large clans like ogaden block them off. Most of the expansion will happen at the expense of smaller subclans/clans whom are themselves partly bilingual and heavily mix with oromos.
Whats more worrying is the afar expansion against the issa whom they have already displaced and taken a large chunks of territory from, and their thirst for more land doesnt look it has been quenched just yet. They lost lands to the cissa 100+ years ago and any expansion at the expense at the cissa whether they have a claim on it or not is seen as morally righteous from their pov it seems. And the neighbouring clans wont do shit to help because they have their own beef with issa and even if they didnt have beef they wouldnt do anything - there's no somalinimo in ethiopia/kenya.

Cagdheer is the one losing most lands to the Oromo's currently as the others outside of Dir and Karanle leave to far away from Oromia but the Oromo's mostly border Ogaden's..

And for the last 100 years the Ogaden's have failed to liberate Somali Galbeed and won't be able to do for the next 100 years. The Truth is that Only Hawiye can liberate Somali Galbeed but not currently. We just need a period of time to develope ourselves like next 20-25 years.

Oromo faces no threat from the Ogaden's nor did the Amahara's previously. It was us who muslimized them all the way to Gambela region that is the furthest of Ethiopia.

But the main issues is that they are currently 120 million which is quite alot cannon fodders and breed like rabbits and in order to overcome them it has to come down to intelligence and being more advanced then them. Numbers won't do them any favors against modernized and well oiled forces of our own.

With latest fighter jets, tanks, drones and all other means they won't be able to stop us. The ethiopian forces are unmotivated and cannon fodders and you saw Tigray almost take Addis and they are a tiny minority.

Even one old elderly Ogaden man told me once this ''We can't gain independence from Ethiopia until Hawiye wages war''

With hagite presidents of Somalia like HSM....you will not be able to liberate a few blocks in Xamar.....never mind Somali galbeed.

Never said it was suppose to be HSM or even currently. Besides Mogadishu is free every inch of it but I meant if we are given 20-25 years of development without a doubt. Even the Ogaden intellectuals know this themselves

Somalia has mostly been sick but it will fully recover. Even the US went thru a prolonged civil war it is political turmoil but the politics is becoming clearer now everyday. I believe Somalia will have complete solution in the next 3-4 years

I want to see the hags on Mogadishu do well.......it benefits all Somalis to have a fully functioning govt.
However, realistically I can't see it any time soon.
Too many hagites benefit from the status quo.....why change it. That was the mantra of your HG for over 20 years, until Geedi smashed their stranglehold on Mogadishu.

For Somalia......this is as good as its gonna get.

For Somalia......this is as good as its gonna get.

There is a solution but nobody ethablished it yet. It should make everyone happy. First and foremost there needs to be justice and federalism should be based on tribal boundaries hence the federalism has to be undone to rewrite the borders and give each clan it's rights. Everything good starts with Haaq.

After that everyone can chose what he wants. We are all same nation and speak same language and sunni muslim. As a HAG I wish for my somali brethens whether it is D- or Isaaq and the others the same thing I wish for myself. Hence there rights will be given to everyone and the chance of self-determination.

I don't see keeping together people of differet opinions or aspirations as gobonimo or noble act.

Making them all feel at ease will be win for everyone

I know they’ve been pushing Somalis out of Galbeed towns but I’m talking about actual Somali towns i.e Boorame, Gaalkacyo, etc
