I am not impressed these days.



The 2nd biggest region in Somalia with 7 Shabaab-free district headquarters, with 1 clan hegemonic domination, with one of the largest Somali diaspora, and one of if not even the most disproportionately largest human resource within a single region (army officers, politicians, socio-cultural luminaries, etc)---and lately the regional leadership seems to be a parody of in group dysfunctional reality show.

I might even add "ALL" of Jubbaland is in this boat, but really "Gedo" region is more important than present "Jubbaland" (which substantively does not even exist).

"Gedo" region is more "important" than any single "region" of all of Somalia's pre-1991 18 regions. It is more important politically, socially, militarily, etc.

It is more important than "Bari," the biggest region in Somalia by area. It is more important than "Waqooyi Galbeed", than "Bay", than "Hiiraan", than "Mudug", than "Lower Shabelle," than "Lower Jubba", etc.

Gedo Region is the only region out of Somalia's pre-1991 18 regions that has the weight, impact, stature, and influence of a "Federal Member State" and ironically even inspite of it.

Yet look at the foolishness!

It needs a regional "Abdullahi Yusuf." A man who slaps them in the face and drills them into an orderly line and who has no petty corruption weaknesses and vices.

Under what index is a landlocked region with zero infrastructure better than Waqooyi Galbeed. It’s like saying South Dakota is better than California.

Ninyo you becoming a parody when you become baseless statements like those above. I would even say your Gedo is not more important than Bari. These two regions have historical important regions. Your Gedo has no history with nothing today. The future allah knows but my guess is it will nothing than. So keep up your misinformation don’t let me disturb you.

They just need to unite. The lines are blurry and we don't know who is commanding what. I think that qabiil shiir should be called already.

This is why Gedo Region is the only Somali region whose inhabitants are met with as a "social regional unit" by the highest national governments of the region;

Yeah bakaal kooke aun was holding everything together. I don't think we need armed revolt tbh at this point. It'd be okay to see how far fartaag and Co take their plans. It's still some time before fartaag can attempt to take over the chair. It won't be too late to pull he trigger later on.

Gedo does not produce good leaders. Speaking as a Reer Gedo I believe leadership of Gedo/MX should be from Reer Mudug MX. all 14 MX Mps should come from Caabudwaaq/Balanbale/Dhabat, etc
