This topic isn't for arguments or debate. This is my "belief" and I am noting it for the record.

Abdi Waayeel (Marehan/Reer Diini/Reer Kooshin)---the current Interior Minister---is arguably the single most powerful "regional" leader of central Somalia since 1991.

He is more powerful than any one who has claimed Galmudug presidency like Xaaf or before or.

It is very easy to understand why that is the case.

Central Somalia of "Galmudug" is really an nterplay between Habar Gidir and Marehan in the sense Habar Gidir is powerful over the majority of central Somalia but Marehan is singularly the only power over their western part of central Somalia.

So any powerful Habar Gidir central Somalia leader has had no power over Marehan central Somalia and any powerful Marehan central Somalia leader has only implicated Marehan dominion as his jurisdiction.

Which brings in Abdi Waayeel--He is Marehan and the Interior Minister of Galmudug.

For those who have observed Galmudug politics---Abdi Waayeel displayed "power" compelling acceptance of his authority both against Marehan AND Habar Gidir.

Even Qoorqoor as Galmudug doesn't have that power.

Qoorqoor can never "compel" his authority over Marehan let alone a non-MX Galmudug Interior Minister like Fiqi prior.

Abdi Waayeel has "compelled" Marehan in Caabudwaaq local council and he has "compelled" Cayr, most infamously, within HG on things like the Guriceel local council.

I have always believed the community that will break down the "gentlemen's agreements" or the federal state office x belongs to clan x and federal state office y belongs to clan y would be Reer Caabudwaaq.

I believe that for the simple reason the entire Somali population knows Rer Caabudwaaq's implication in hegemonic dominant contest of power.

It is also perfectly predictable in the sense for the facts like Habar Gidir is the largest "deegaan" in central Somalia, but Marehan Caabudwaaq is the largest "degmo" in central Somalia.

Abdi Waayeel.is now the fact to that prediction.

I believe that Abdi Waayeel "will" become President of Galmudug which "will" result in breaking down the gates in all the other federal states and their versions of "4.5."

They and their 3 districts of Caabudwaaq, Balanbale, and Dhabad (to HG's 3 districts of Dhusamareb, Cadaado and Hobyo), Vice President of Galmudug guarantee (to HG's President so far), 5 Galmudug Ministers (to HG's 7 minister), and 16 MPs out of 83 (to HG's 25 MPs out of 83) or roughly 20% of Galmudug equity (to HG's roughly 30% of Galmudug equity).
