The 20+ delegation representing their liege lords were received by Ugas Mohamed Ugas Ahmed Ugas Farah in Caabudwaaq at Gahandhale gardens in the newly built Ugaz Abdille Ali Abogne Estate.

They handed him a petition requesting in their many names, the heads of many branches of Darod, that he, Ugas of Marehan at Caabudwaaq, have the honor to host an unprecedented Darod-wide summit.

Ugas Mohamed-Keyse has, naturally, responded affirmatively to the suit.

I am told there will be some very strong points put up for discussion to reach understanding on "Darod" consensus like;

1. Darod agreement that SSC as an "independent" entity of its own, different to both Puntland and Somaliland, with MJ then responding for Darod thereafter to any questions about SSC's independent entity status
2. Darod agreement that Jubbaland is really a "Sade" "sphere of influence" & the "Presidency" belongs to "Sade," otherwise it is just "waste" of time on state that is neverendingly "nonexistent"
3. Darod agreement on a unified, united, clear stance on "Mogadishu", I am not sure whether they will reach agreement on final status as capital, but they "will" and should be expected to reach a position on "Darod equity" in Mogadishu (occupied houses and property, etc).

This is hugely significant and a watershed moment!
