I see some folks using the 1933 Italian statistical attempt ("census") to repeat the lie about Baardheere.

Read the damn thing correctly;

There was Bardere TOWN ("CENTRO") and Bardere the DISTRICT ("COMPRENSORIO")




Baardeere the Italian DISTRICT was 1/3 in today's Bay (Diinsor) 50% in today's Middle Jubba (buaale and Salagle ) and 20% in today's northern Afmadoow district (Hagar-Diif)



So that was land in which even today isn't our claim nor part of today's Baardheere, Gedo.

They have their land that was Italian Baardheere district---it is called Bu'aale district of Middle Jubba.


But the town ("centro") of Bardere just like Jilib town had Marehan as the largest Darod group.



Bardere the TOWN had 2X as much Marehan as all of the rest of Darod combined.

I love how this topic deconstructed the two biggest and really only mainstream Ogaden false grievance making in jn Jubbaland as displayed here;



1. Siad Barre didn't capture "Fafahdhuun" for Marehan. They captured it in 1916 as literally attested to by Kenya Governor Belfield in 1917.

2. Siad Barre didn't "take" Bardere away from anyone for Marehan. There were 200% more Marehan than all other Darod in Bardere as attested to by the Italians in 1933.
