In any case, Somaliland must work for the total marginalisation and subjugation of Darod in both Somaliland and Somalia each, since they constitute a small minority in each country population wise
Either two separate countries or reunification in the form of "one country two republics" are the only choices and in each choice Somaliland will remain one polity, Italian Somalia will be one single polity, each with the same colonial borders pre 1960 and both sides ruled by the majority clan (Isaaq for Somaliland and Hawiye for Somalia)
