How does Reer Gedo view Dabcasar's comments?

Post by SadSayyid »

Some of his views are conspiratorial but I agree with the general premise of comments.

A politicians job in Somali society is not to build his own political career but should be to build his clans political base so they're set well after he's gone. With the nature of Somalia's collapse what's decided on will have ramifications for decades if not centuries.

I saw people praising Farmaajo when Deni made his comments about how Farmaajo wasn't acting in the interests of Darod or Marehan. Somalia is 4.5, it's MX and Darod political capital he was using and now MX don't have much in return for that investment.

Deni, who was an Islamist Damuljadid minister, is the only person who is in front of HSM. This is because his political base was built for him.

I'm happy that Dabcasar is publicly calling out reer MX, that's much healthier for us than to pretend everything's good and dandy. I'm slacking but Insha'allah I'll be able to help out in Gedo in a personal capacity in the future.

(Edit, I posted the wrong YouTube link, I'll post the Facebook)

There is some truth to what he is saying. Particularly with regards to poor leadership in Gedo. We have too many short-sighted iteral jaahiliin trying to lead the people. That said, it is not as bad as he makes it out to be. We have the same problems all Somalis have these days. All Somalis need quraansaar.

I agree, unfortunately there is a huge deficit in regards to human capital in Somalia.
