Garbahaareey is actually the most quaint, masterfully planned little town in Somalia (at least what hasn't been impacted by the post-1991). Faysal Cali Waraabe was incidentally the engineer who planned it after the capital of Gedo was changed from Balad Hawa and the border to the center of the region in Garbo.

not just a large Diaspora but also own big businesses. just looking at my city the most accomplished somalis in their career and earnings are MX. The problem is there is no jaaliyad that brings them together.

in my city there is MJ (puntland) jaaliyad. even though MX outnumber them 10 to 1 we don't have a jaaliyad - the very thing that makes Somalis trust in MX leadership is what makes MX forget about organising themselves.
