Remember my reading of the SSC vs Muuse war (which has since been astute) as going to be 3 phases.

1. Repulsing Muuse on his campaign to seize Las Anod
2. Grounding him down from all offensive capability
3. Ejecting him from all SSC tribal territory to his clan border

I even said, on February 9, #1 would be and had to be only SSC, #2 would be Harti, #3 would implicate Darod

Since #2 was finished during Ramadan, we have since seen the Garad Jama's EID speech. I knew it was the greenlight to starting putting in place preparations for phase #3. Since then it has been diplomacy by the Garads within Harti and Darod while presumably military and logistics preparations were underway by the armed wing.

We now see the first signs regarding the level of Darod implication in these preparations.

This is Captain Guled Canjeex, he is MX/Rer Garaad from Gedo. He has fought even in Hiiraan against Shabaab.

Today we see him just arrived in Las Anod and he is not alone. He is with [Gedo] "company."



Muuse should simply withdraw from SSC territory. He is not in Las Anod and there is no one with a tiny bit of the hubris to imagine he can ever take it back by force. Whatever Muuse supporter's think of SSC and these circumstances, the only recourse available that should be apparent to all Somaliland supporters is simply "diplomacy." This is the only possible option with any positive outcome for implicating SSC back in Somaliland. Get out of their territory, limit yourself to your own clan boundary and prevent the next phase from happening which will grave repercussions.

Horta when you make outlandish claims try stay close to common sense and logic. We were never in las anood but Goojacade before the war. The Somaliland friendly Dhulbahante admistarted the city themselves. Now if the Harti had the upper hand they would not be hiding inside las anood. They are hiding in these schools, hospitals, mosques, and firing at the Somaliland soldiers. Nautarily the Somaliland army will fire back time to time but not with full military arsenal. In any armed conflict it's a huge sign of weakness when you are hiding inside the city because you will lose in a open battle. If we are as weak as you claim you dont your fighters come out of the city and fight us in an open battle? All this we kicked you out of las anood is childish.
