Your lack of understanding in Kenyan politics really shows. Kikuyus have no stakehold today because of Uhuru Kenya just like how Mxs have no stakehold in Mogadishu politics because of Farmaajo. Ruto is looking to corner the Kikuyus that is why he is allying himself with the powerful Ogaden Somalis to keep them in check. Rebel, I am going to tell you right now what will happen in the next 25 years;

1. MX will be Governor over an eastern Somali Region gobol that doesn't exist now but which will be named Buuro. It will have a city in it, either Fadhigaradle or Lasacaano that will be as big as Qabri Dahar but possibly bigger. The conspicuous absence of Marehan in Somali Region politics now will be like night/day to their level of presence in Somali Region politics then commensurate/proportional to their settlement and existence in Somali Region. They may even have Federal Minister.

2. Marehan will be a Kenya clan like Ogaden, Degoodi, Murule, and Garre. They will have just as much relevance to at least 3 MP constituencies (Mandera East, Lafey, and Wajir East) like Murule/Garre/Ogaden. They may even have Federal Minister. But certainly they will be Kenya's near abroad in Somalia like they are Ethiopia's near abroad in Somalia now. Beled-Xaawo will be the biggest land customs point of Kenya.

3. Marehan will be long considered by then as President of Jubbaland state, Ogaden will be Vice President. It is possible President/VP is not chosen according to clan dictate by then but certainly Marehan will be beyond a shadow of doubt recognized as holding suzerainty over Jubbaland. Their presence in Kismaayo will be like the Ogaden presence in Jigjiga today,---not predominantly under their local deegaan equity but politically dominant.

Ogaden will have accepted the reality long by then as two important things are removed sustaining the status quo that ironically enough is not even controlled by them;

1. The internal Marehan socio-cultural outlook that has long been at war with Ethiopia to the point they forwent over 80 years of political absence ocer large part of their land for the refusal to recognize it was Ethiopa

2. The present Kenya Defense Forces military occupation that started 10 years ago under Uhuru Kenyetta that was entirely predicated on the ocean case attempt/MOU.

You are correct in everything you said about their clan or that they are Somalis.

But they are political "appointees" and political "appointees" do not set "policy."

In fact, in defense/intelligence it is the inverse---political "appointees" are really "soldiers" and soldiers only take orders. Particularly Kenya, even the Kenyan President isn't fully in charge of security policy. He shares authority over that in a trust with His Majesty's Defense Secretary (represented in person by the "Defense Attache" @ His Majesty's British High Commission Nairobi, i.e. "diplomatic mission/embassy to Kenya").

What does that have to do with Bu'aale which is ongoing right this "now" or Madoobe and what will happen in "August."

Rebel, you have my sympathies. I am MX, I am supposed to be the one tirsanayo godob, but everytime I read you or other Ogaden, my vantage goes from my grievance as MX against Madoobe to my consideration of what is behind OG heroification/saviour-hood of Madoobe.

Madoobe is a "man" sxb. He will be gone, sooner even than later, but certainly he will be gone.

1. Despite grazing clashes implicating the periphery, Marehan has one full control over one full district in Galmudug: Caabudwaaq.
   • Despite the similar including even settlement diversity, Ogaden has one full district in Jubbaland: Afmadoow
2. Marehan has smaller administrative units like Balanbale and Dhabad which are important locally but nationally are tertiary to Caabudwaaq.
   • Absame has similar administrative units like Badhaadhe and Bu'aale which are important locally buf nationally tertiary to Afmadoow.
3. In Galmudug, there is Dhusamareb which is a strong representative of Galgaduud equity as a consensus although not the biggest town in central Somalia which reserves a special grievance from Marehan historical presence.
   • In Jubbaland, there is Bardere which is a strong representative of Gedo equity as a consensus although not the biggest town in Jubbaland which reserves a special grievance from Absame historical presence.
4. Marehan are currently implicated in the biggest population center of Galmudug although of their own accord: Caabudwaaq
   • Ogaden are currently implicated in the biggest population center of Jubbaland although because of KDF presence: Kismaayo
5. Marehan in Galmudug straddle an international boundary and in fact most of their settlements amd population in that wide region is on the non-Somalia side of border.
   • Ogaden in Jubbaland straddle an International border and in fact most of their settlements and population in that wide region is on the non-Somalia side of border.
6. Marehan do not control Hobyo, Cadaado, Dhusamareb, Ceel Buur, Ceel Dheer, Southern Gaalkacyo, etc.

7. Galmudug was entirely consensus on the ground without foreign troops and Marehan took Vice President
