Why does Hassan Sheikh Mohamud think BILATERAL SOMALIA STATE RESPONSIBILITY is family and neighborhood cookout?

Honestly this is an impeachable offense against the PEOPLE of Somalia. HSM's family and friends have nothing to do with the business between Qatar and the STATE of Somalia.

Is his daughter Somalian or mexican. Why do you care if some of his family members work with him as long as they are citizens. You are reer diini and you have been practising this for decades.

If there is no law against this , then it's fine.

As for there being "law" in this matter, no that shows you do not appreciate what it means to be "represented."

Representing Somalia is not a "right" entitled to HSM, it is a "privilege." That is why the standard for impeachment of leadership does not necessarily require the implication of the law ("criminality"). It is enough to indict in a political process the failure to respect the "dignity" of office. This is why "impeachment" is not a court proceeding, it is a legislative proceeding.

And why there is no recourse for a Court that can "overturn" the decision of a legislative body to impeach a leader.

He has no rights in this manner bringing in the law and the protection of his personal entitlements!

I never saw a day of Siad Barre's government. In any case, this is a government based on the 2012 provisional charter which declares HSM as an elected representative subject to popular will. /Relevance

Impeaching is a laandheere previlage , how can you impeach any thing when you have only 10 MPs you are like a bird on donkey. You don't weight that much.

All the world leaders don't take him seriously.......The Kenyan president recently declared there was no government in Mogadishu.

The multilateral institutions have all frozen the release of any funds. I don't think hsm regime has received a single penny since coming to office.

The best we can hope for is for hsm to finish his term peacefully, leaving the furniture in Villa Somalia intact.

You hit the nail on the head, my expectations for this man has already reached the lowest of low. I wouldnt be surprised if he left Villa Somalia in the same condition he left it in 2016.

That would be a bonus.
