Former PM the Hon Geedi.....paved the way for the rebirth of the Somali 3rd Republic.
It was Geedi and his patron Mohammed Dheere aun, who reestablished a Somali Government in Somalia.
It must be remembered that until then, Mogadishu was overrun with Orc like people squatting left and right.
The Orcs had been an impediment to Government for 15+ years. They use to boast.....we don't need a Government.....we have everything.
This was the mentality PM Geedi faced in Mogadishu.
The Orcs were confronted head on and were soundly defeated in Mogadishu. It was bloody work and many innocents were killed.....but it had to be done to bring Government back to Somalia.
Many Orcs fled back to their home regions and eventually began building Galmudug.
Every successive Government has C/Yusef aun and Geedi to thank for clearing the Orcs from Villa Somalia and every major intersection in Mogadishu.
