100 years after the 1st Darwiish state the 2nd Darwiish state is born

The Dhulbahnte have always been unique among the Somali peoples, in terms of history, culture, heroism etc.

When the Somali lands were being carved up by the European and Abyssinian empires it was the Dhulbahnte and other Daroods that waged a Jihad to liberate land.

So fierce and devasting in battle, the Darwiish were given their own state that stretched from Illig- Xudun- Danot.

The 1st Darwiish state lasted for 5 years from 1905.
The Darwiish abandoned the state and fought the invading empires for the next 16 years, until famine, warfare and Spanish Flu eventually decimated their numbers.

The 2nd Darwiish State aka SSC has just been de facto recognised by the real power in Somalia, Xalane.

Hsm has been forced to accept the nascent 2nd Darwiish State is a reality. We will now receive our share of the Somali begging bowl directly.

It is only a matter of time before SSC receives full federal status.

If you search the primary history books you can't get one single reference describing mire as a dervish warrior. In fact the only piece of writing about him describes him a toothless funny old man.
