Rashid Abdi @ Sahan shows signs of 'growth' ('remorse'?) on Somalia analysis.

I do not know if it is because of what befell Muuse Biixi in Somaliland following the mindless mistake of attacking Las Anod and inadvertently existentially hurting the state project or because of the abject failure and less than lackluster 1st year of HSM's presidency but there is a noticably observable 'course correction' in Rashid Abdi of Sahan Africa judging by his Twitter account.
Gone is the inappropriate implication as a 'participant' to Somalia's bitter internal politics. Gone is the personalization and reproachful 'intimacy' surrounding Somalia subject matter and material. Gone is the subjective and partisan taking of sides. Gone is the bitterness and resentment towards particular groups or viewpoints forming part of the Somalia fracas.
In fact, his production is entirely inverse to the recent past or namely whereas he was highly subjectively personally involved he is now objectively detached or even uninvolved.
I have no idea why he, Matt Bryden, Sahan Africa, etc ever blurred the lines between partiality and impartiality in such a highly partisanly charged atmosphere as civil war Somalia with bitter, even consuming factional grievances---but purely as a rational piece of advice if there is ever a way to 'redemption' and 'redress' for the wound inflicted on your craft making, I would say this exact change of course correction is the way to it.
I adviced you a number of times here Rashid that you were doing yourself a great disservice.
By your turnabout, I cannot but help you finally realized it yourself. Better late than never.
