Technology develops ina circles and usually comes back to bite its creators.
Drones were pioneered by the West but cheap off the shelf components that are used in fridges and mobile phones are just as good as military specifications.
Ok not as good but 70% as effective but at 1/10
The price. Its even worse when you factor in the unimaginably massive corruption in the entire west's millinery industrial complex making closer to 20 to 30 times the price .
It's a game changer.
Any countermeasures developed by the West will by its nature be easy to copy and produce cheaper than the West so no major advantage in the foreseeable future.
If the West takes things seriously and cuts down on corruption they would be a threat, but their own incompetence makes their technological superiority useless.
