Somalia & Ethiopia have not demarcated their border officially (as Somalia before 1991 claimed Somali Region, Ethiopia) but over the last decades or civil war, there has developed a rather organically formed "accepted" border between Somalia and Ethiopia and which is also adhered to by regional and international organizations like U N and IGAD.
So DE JURE, there is still not a legally concluded demarcated border, but DE FACTO, however, there is an accepted and affirmed actual border.
The Defacto Somalia border map including or rather containing the non-demarcated provisional dotted line is thus;
Balanbale district deviates the most between the de facto border and the archaic non-demarcated provisional dotted line shown above which causes some animation from folks looking at Google maps considering Google represents only the provisional non-demarcated dotted line. The town is shown on the Ethiopia side of border (along with Caabudwaaq and Galdogob and even Xeraale) using that deprecated "misunderstanding."
In reality, all 4 of those places are recognized as part of Somalia with both the Somali Federal Government as well as the Ethiopian government considering the locality of "Boran Adka Yar" as the official "border point" some distance to the west of Balanbale.
Here is just last month with the Somali Federal Government National Agency for Migration and Citizenship (Ha'yadda Laanta Socdaalka iyo Jinsiyaddaha) opening the 4th official customs post of Somalia with this one designated as Galmudug State's official customs point with Ethiopia at "Booraan-cadka Yar," once again, to the west of Balanbale town near Tuulo Barwaaqo.
This would be tantamount to a declaration of war if Ethiopia and Somalia did not have a de facto continuing agreement about what constitutes the border between the two.
I uploaded a high resolution pdf for download and perusal;

Gubbet, you've gone from posting about having a dynistical claim to being president of all Somali to posting about random village(S).
How far have you fallen. But then again, farmaajo's claim to the presidency was based around a sort of affirmative action for Marexaan. You though assumed it was instead based on your superior lineage. Reality has been tough on both you and your tribesman.
So, you think this tuulo might be on the somali side........

I don't think you are speaking to me. I think you are speaking to an unfortunate latent insecurity possibly within you that should not even exist & which I totally regret having had introduced to my person if it does exist.
Really sxb, you need to stop.
I excrete waste just as you do and if I do not brush, my teeth get covered in plaque just as you. You need to stop imposing cuqdad on me. It is so over-expired, I am nothing but completely indifferent at this point.
However, because I have stopped viewing you with hostility since my Hargeisa trip, I would like to request again that you stop it. My last response to anything of this nature.

NOTE: Map Action needs better cartographers because the colors are entirely problematic for the feature represented. The coloring represents [PHYSICAL] ELEVATION not [LAND] ARABILITY--so height not quality. The Green-Magenta is much more naturally suited to arability, yet here what is being represented is elevation so the green should have been a lighter tapering gray shade and the magenta should have been a deep tapering brown or mahogany. But yes, land height or elevation is what the colors represent not land quality. The red represents high altitude not arid landscape.

^ As if planting us wretched creatures in the most barren and desolate corner of the globe was not enough, cruel Fate, in its customary sardonic humor, has given our villages an appellation characteristic of the very thing that we poor folk seem to stand in the direst need, i.e., "Barwaaqo", "Daraslam", "Cagaaran", etc... That is why you have all over Skinnstan a prodigious number of villages with names of similar vein.

Deegaanka Barwaaqo near Balanbale belong to Uurmidig Sade.
Tuulo Barwaaqo near Garbahareey belong to reer Siyaad, ex. Waxaas badan kkkkk. The difference is:
1. Deegaanka Barwaaqo 2. Tuulo Barwaaqo.
3. Deeganka G/gaud 4. tuulo is Gedo
5. Belong Uurmidig 6. Belong to r.Siyad

Bashe is absolutely correct. The Tuulo Barwaaqo near Balanbale has been recently 1.) restyled just "Barwaaqo/Barwaqo/Barwako" from "Tuulo Barwaaqo" and 2.) it does indeed belong to Uurmidig different to the 3.) Tuulo Barwaaqo near Garbahaarey in Gedo which 4.) belongs to Reer Siyaad. Interestingly Booraan-cadka Yar itself is a Reer Siyaad waterhole and small hamlet on the way to Jeed but whose closest sizable settlement is indeed the Uurmidig village of Barwaaqo. Baashe do you know or are related to Habib Dhagacaleen?
North, "Tuulo Barwaaqo" is actually the one name that is used as a place name in virtually all 3 of the main deegaan of MX. There is this one near Balanbale, the one near Garbahaarey, AND the one near Deka town in Nageyle. It is followed by "Golwayn/Goluin/Goluen," Hareer/Hareri, etc who exist in 2/3 locations. "Booraan-cadka Yar" itself is a borrowing from the "Booraan-cad" which is between Tuulo Sarmaan and Caabudwaaq.
