Hassan Mohamud Culusoow is 50 kms to the scene of the murdered children that shocked the region. The children were killed in Dacdheer inside Ethiopia, but some of them were from Dhabad in Somalia because their families were there for a wedding. Dhabad and Dacdheer are settled by Marehan/Wagardhac and this is not unusual. The killers happened to be from Cadaado who specifically planned their attack to coincide with the wedding. They knew folks would be concentrated in one area with giving them clear path. They knew children get tired and withdraw early usually congregating in the religious school or dugsi of the village while the grown ups socialized and stamped their feet to gyration in the makeshift square.

The kids were buried in Dhabad which is the spiritual capital of Wagardhac. Dhabad is in Somalia. Hassan Mohamud Culusoow is less than 50 kms to Dhabad. The so-called President of Galmudug State is there with him. Forget getting up and going the small drive to honor and grieve with the families, let alone attend the burial, did these men even put out a single statement sending condolence?

• Meanwhile, one 2nd visit to Dacdheer, Ethiopian Interior Ministry officials with representatives from Somali State President Cagjar + the Governor of Doollo region, the District Commissioner of Warder + the District Commissioner of Galadi along with Ethiopian Defense Forces officers have come to Dacdheer to pay their respects, extend their condolences, announce plans to institute a system of border security posts, and generously extended a small trauma support kit including small financial aid package to the victim's families.
  
  
• That visit promptly followed on the heels of the District Commissioner of Galadi and the ENDF and Ethiopian Federal Police commanders based in Galadi coming to pay their respects and extend condolences to Dacdheer a day before. They sat down with the children of Dacdheer and spoke to some of the survivors extending their attention, care, and interest as well as their sorrow that at such a young age they had to be confronted by evil.

Niyo the last part is not true and frankly is counter productive as I have seen this week with misinformation. Every corner of Marehan is at war sxb and they help each other just fine. Marehan has enough arms and capability and frankly has never required the sort of drama which is considered as a measure of "support" by people far from the land.
