Tyrant Bixi approaches hj business elite to fund new war

Post by original dervish »

News has reached me of a secret meeting between the hj uber rich and tyrant Bixi.

Tyrant Bixi's criminal regime has made sl bankrupted by the conflict with Darood.

In order to launch a new war tyrant Bixi needs an injection of tens of millions of Dollars.

Tyrant Bixi has promised to repay the money from future government revenues.

The hj businessmen asked for time to consider the request.

Personally, I'm optimistic that the hj businessmen will make the right decision and reject tyrant Bixi's request for funding.

Businessmen by their very nature are cautious and calculating. You don't get to be super rich by being reckless and emotion driven.

At the end of the day the decision of the businessmen will rest on three main points.

1) Are hj people and lands threatened by Dhulbahante?
The answer is clearly no. The Dhulbahante Garaads ordered the offensive to stop at Oog even though the road to Burco was totally undefended. Our Garaads have made clear we do not intend to invade iidoor lands. However, any new war will be fought outside Caynaba/ Oog......hj heartlands.

2) Is war good for their collective businesses?
Again the answer is no. Sl is totally bankrupt. Salaries have been slashed, if paid at all. The economy is in ruins. Inflation/ unemployment is skyrocketing. Sl has been totally cut off from southern Somalia since the war. The sooner this war ends the sooner businessmen can get back to doing business .
Businessmen are usually not ultra nationalist in their outlooks. Trade and commerce is by nature transnational. Sl has lost a lot of market share in every field, be it banking, livestock, travel, transport, shipping, health, education, foodstuffs etc since the war began.

3) Will they receive their money back?
Tyrant Bixi's grip on power is decreasing by the day. If his criminal regime collapses, there is no guarantee any incoming sl administration will honour any agreement signed by tyrant Bixi. Therefore, there is a strong likelihood the hj businessmen will not be paid back.

At the end of the day Sl cannot afford to replace the weaponry, re-equip it's forces, rebuild it logistics and recruit new soldiers. Most of the defeated soldiers have returned to their homes after 8 months of hell in Goojacaade.

Only half the number of troops that were in Goojacaade reported for duty in Oog.

It's still my opinion this war is over.
And Allah swt knows best.
