In all my time observing Somali politics, Hassan Sheekh's 2nd term has been the most divisive period I have yet seen.
And I realize I do NOT like it.
Ever since Hassan Sheekh's blatant "Badbaado Qaran" using the most dangerously divisive dogwhistles like "son of my loins, issue of my seed" (my 'tribesman') for trying to cause insubordination in the Commander of the Army towards the sitting President, this man has birthed the most vicious state of tribal tension and tribal acrimony I have ever seen in my entire life.
And it has only gotten so bad that HSM himself is now crying everywhere pleading for unity.
YOU are the problem. YOU are the oxygen feeding the fire. YOU need to go. 🧐
