I may be heading there and I am not looking forward to it. I never liked Kenya. Ever. I much prefer Ethiopia between the two neighbors. Anyway what is it that is bothering you about the place?

Turbulance it was the predeparture visa that put me off initially. But goodness sake i have been out of the country for 20 yrs and even though Eastleigh has transformed the open sewer is still there everywhere. Nasty! People not using commonsense on the pot hole riddled roads, honking, entering roundabout without giving way, matutus running redlight etc men. The weather is just awful global warming is real eastleigh is baking everyday, 20 years ago we wore jackets.

Damn.....are you broke or what?
Go on safari, head down to Mombasa, Lamu etc.
You don't have to confine yourself to the slums.

Were it the lot of your gaajo-ridden skinny-kiwi derriere to own a lucrative business in Eastleigh, with huge sums of revenue being generated annually, that sewage you mentioned, would, no doubt, have smelled sweet as a rose.

OD or anyone else i advice you lot to find a room for rent in Eastleigh. Don't be like me i learnt my lesson hardway burnt 300 us dollars in just 5 days excluding airbnb or uber this was just eating out. Uber was set up on my debit card.
Having said that Eastleigh is under going construction boom with biggest mall in East Africa just recently opened, but the same eyesores remains in the middle of flash hotels and apartment blocks. Those eyesores are; barely existing road and zero sewege, drainage or gabage disposal facility. People are just building left right and centre but nothing is done to address the mess. I was told somalida paid millions of dollars to the Kenyan gov to fix this but it goes straight to their pockets.
Its about time we invest in qaraxdisho aka muqdisho
