The Somali federal government have come out in the strongest possible terms against the Mou. Calling it an " Act of aggression ".

As always we will have to watch what the western countries say.

I believe Ethiopia is ready to return to the western political orbit, as it was under Meles.

In return Ethiopia wants western assistance in gaining access to the sea.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Ethiopian debt default was on purpose.......to let creditor nations know we need sea access in order to bolster our economy and pay our debts.
