USA and AU reaffirm Somalia sovereignty

It looks like the US and AU are both backing Somalia against the Ethiopia- SL sea deal.

I can't see how Ethiopia can go forward with this deal without the agreement of Mogadishu.

The US by coming out against the sea deal, pretty much wraps it up for me. I can't see what Ethiopia can do.

I believe the the US has nefarious reasons to back Mogadishu........they know Mogadishu will never amount to shiit. So have condemned the rest of the regions to poverty and despair. The US breaks up countries to keep them weak. They know SL will flourish if they break free from Mogadishu . Sad but true. Oh well....

Mogadishu will almost certainly now grant SSC full federal member state status in order to break up the SL region. They may even do the same with Awdal.

This is bad news for secession.
I was under the impression that Ethiopia was surrendering to the USA after US foreign minister Blinken recently visited Addis Ababa.

The problem sl has is that it has poisoned relations with Mogadishu.Sl is in a difficult position.

Ethiopia cannot continue with the sea deal.....no way.
Sl needs to develop a new strategy, and quickly.

Today Somali affairs both Somalia and Somaliland and Djibouti and Ethiopian affairs are in the hands of Arabs the UAE AND THE Saudis
the saudis and emaaratis havents spoken and havent condemned ethiopian efforts for they know what is at stake in here.

actually this conflict is good for the region culusow has flown to asmara. now the hardest pil to swallow for geele is he doesnt like the situation but he cant choose the asmara camp since the conflict between eritrea and him isnt solved


Though the Ethiopians have choosen the side of Chinese and the russians ethiopia choosen to be part of the brics country begin this year 1 january they were admitted into the Bric BLOCK

But now that this happend is far more cruicial for the Americans to treat the SL and Somalia caution if they throw Somaliland under the bus because of the Amisom project , it can forget to have base in Berbera to monitor so they know this also

And the Ethiopians have now good ties with the russians and other block of countries they determined to have a sea out let against all cost , i doubt the Ethiopians care if the west tells them it is violating Somalia , i think it remains with lip service the real powers at hand are the Arabs

America support of Somalia was vague as fuck and when asked what their going to do about it they said they weren't getting involved and it's up to the stakeholders ie Ethiopia and Somaliland..
I wouldn't call that Support its just diplomacy..
