So he was 16 years old the year was 1990 he was living in Abu Dhabi and went to an International high school.His dad was oil engineer based in the UAE Reer Dahir HJ. He went to Utanga with the rest of the family, they flew to Europe and he flew back to Abu Dhabi. 2 Weeks after his return to Abu Dhabi, Somaliland declared independence after Ali Mahdi had Declared himself President without including SNM and OmarJess in a National Unity government.
