Yes, Allah is the giver of life and death; He punishes with His justice and blesses with His mercy.

Death is not a punishment as you think is something everyone has to go through once in their lifetime.

How do you know whether creation or birth is painless? How do you know if death is painfull? Islam is primarily about what happens to the individual when life on earth ends (death in the eyes of imortals). A logic conclusion is that death itself is not painfull. It is not a punishment but a transition to an eternal world.

These people who died while performing an important pillar in islam might hence have undergone a painfull death (TO US) but in reality they might have been painless.

You did not answer my question on creation. Who and why should we be created? You may use the common answer of "cells", mutations and dying. but the question still remains of the meaning of life.

lol, ok you mentioned few reasons why people die, fair enough, but how about if someone survives from all of that + more.. And have you ever in your deviant life came across someone who mysteriously survived for 200 years.
