I like the design of this house. It's sort of like a miniature palace.

I don\'t think these can be classified as houses. These are mansions.

A modest house that will not standout from the crowd in Hargeisa would cost you around 50K. But if you want to bring your own wicked design, then you expect to pay a leg and an arm.

I’m there in 6 weeks hadii Ilaahy yidhaa after 19 yrs. I don't remember anything about that city walaahi but I'm excited to see the new city of Hargeisa. I'm also going to Burco (I never seen it) Sheikh (never been there either), Berbera, boorama (I lived there when I was a little, just love that place) and of course Djiobouti (more than half of the family is there)

Thank you, Kun-dile !
That was a fabulous, amazing experience.
When I was there in 1966 the residential part of Hargeisa was essentially just an Aqal camp. White is the only color I can remember from town. There really wasn't much to buy.
The only bariis that was available had come from india on a boat with rats. It was yellowish with little brown things in it. The cooks had to wash it and wash it and wash it....
Obviously, things have changed. Brap!
