Guri Gaajo
I love people who save. People who throw away their money senselessly disgusts me, especially when they end up with lots and lots of debts.
But what I do not like most are those households that keep the family hungry in an effort to save money.Their children are all in a state of mal-nutrition even though they live in a country were food is abundent. They do not provide adequate clothing for the harsh climates. That money goes back to Somalia and families brag about the size of the house they built back home. Those huge houses are empty or occopied by an ungrateful relative. A friend of mine told me when you ask these ungrateful relatives where they live they say " Looga hadhkii".
I always loved this song although I do not like the laughing part.. but it tells how hateful is "guri Gaajo."

This reminded me of this lady I know here in London who had her kids taken away because she didn' t care for them whatsoever
. The kids didn' t have appropriate clothes for winter and she didn' t wash them. There health was poor aswell. All she did was go into ayuuto after ayuuto (hagbad)
. Maxay lacag ku tarii haday ciyaalkagay ay ka nolan kari wayeen.
My mother calls those people who have houses back home occupied by other
" Iifka lagu dhaxal"

ure right about the poor diet that lies in the community
i couldn'tlive baasto with maraq and xabad moos diet so i had to sigh up at school for proper meals , where you could have entry ---> main meal ------> desert
walaahi waagi hore waan dhargi jirey markaad cuno entry kaliya
no wonder somalis are skinny as fcuk
after moving from the family house i started what one could call l THE HORSE DIET
eat like their is no tommorow hit the GYM WHILE USING CREATINE AND WHEY POWDER
DAMN PPL DONT THINK AM SOMALI ANYMORE
THE FUNNY THING
SOMALIANS TALK ABOUT PERSONAL THINGS ON THE TRAINS AND BUSES NOT KNOWING AM SOMALI UNLESS THEY TAKE A SECOND GOOD LOOK

Demolition,
Most somalis are lanky and skinny. I don' t find that ugly to be honest. It' s gracefull. I hate too much muscle. You can be built without being too bulky.
You are right about our diets which lack variation. It depends from household to household iyo sida ay hooyo walba ay u firfircontahay. Most somalis kids aren' t too fond of khudarta which are very important. We think that hilib and caano are the 2 most essential sources of vitamins which it clearly isn' t.
