***The first somali song you heard/liked***

It' s about time that someone initiated a "lighthearted" thread. It' s so depressing to see the various topics about suffering somalis amongst other nonsense Rolling Eyes

The very first somali song I have heard was "Tiimo dheer" by Mohamed N Gariig. My uncle used to play it in his car when he drove us to school Smile

. I have tried to write the lyrics down( with some help) while listening to the song. Plz keep in mind my somali isn't that great Razz

Mine was "meeday" by Salaad Derbi.. Meeday mahayee meeday, kama maarmikaree meeday. I used to love that song back in the days.. like, two days ago Laughing
