Any idea why the most opressed Muslims who are 100% Muslim Chechnyans-------are forgotten on behalf of Palestinans? Whose news you listened to today? It is sadder to be a Somali.

The Palestinians get more media coverage and besides, that conflict has been going on for longer. I guess many people don't know much about Chechnya.

I wouldn't say it is sadder to be Somali, but the situation in Somalia is pretty sad and I think even worse than Palestine and Chechnya. But then again Somalis only have themselves to blame for that.

The media coverage in Chechnya is controlled by the Russian Government. That's the reason there are not much news from there.

As for Somalia, it's Somalis themselves who don't allow the international press to reach the country. But, as far as I know, there's a great interest in the international community about what's going on in Somalia...

Mowhawk, Let me for a second comment on this good point made by you in another thread sabotaged by the idiot behind you. I think you almost shied away from pointing out that religious principles are futile even for those who hold them dear at the barrel of the gun. But this is a cut-throat world where every man is ruled by his ambition and the dollar he can milk out of you. Did you honestly think that Hamas would not follow the foot steps of the PLO? What has the PLO done for the Palestinians since 1960? The only thing they did was become legitimate political puppets for Israel and the western world, and on the side they contracted few petty terrorist boys to blind the Palestinians from seeing their evident incompetence and corruption. Palestine has suffered heavily under Arafat and his PLO buddies. And I Bet my life that Hamas will do the same. Hell, they have even made a head start in the new efforts to screw the Palestinian people. This deal with Putin doesn't surprise me at all, this was never about religion, and nothing is ever about religion!! Religion is but a futile ideology referenced by many when it pleases them. If religion had ever any purpose, even to instill an ounce of peace and harmony in the hearts of men, then we Somalians we not be staggering at the point we are today. The truth is, the corrupt will be corrupt, even as they stand to complete their 5th prayer of the day to Allah or the next God.

I will end this with Galol's Weinberg's Quote, which no doubt speaks of the reality of those immersed in religious madness "without religion there will be good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things takes religion"

Unlike Palestine, most of Chechnaya has been totally destructed by the Russians in a short period of time, and in that short period, the Chechnayans are more oppressed than the Palestinian people, today. We react to the evening news? It is sad that there exist Somalis who think only Islam is to show with solidarity to Arabs and not among themselves....otherwise we would have felt the dispirate and desperate of the Chechnyanas too.

What happens when there is a civil war in Palestine? Hamas leadership are going to Moscow to meet Putin (Checnaya's inhilator) as a friend to advance their cause? Why can't we advance the Somali cause in the name of Islam?

The whole reason that muslims hate the jews(other than their never-ending deception and hate for muslims and Allah SWT) is that their whole state(Isreal), their ideology and their existence is based on religion...Judaism....wether you are a tenth generation Jew from Slovakia or a new convert from Suadan you are always welcome in Isreal and you better believe it...you have more rights and freedoms than a 15th generation Palestinian.....anyone knows why this is a religious feud more than a political one ...now???

Are you just waking up from your hypernation, offcourse it is all about politics, there is not a single house stamdimg or, a safe Chechnyan in Grozny and the Palestinisna live much better than them. We measure all things Islamic to what is happening in the Arab world.
