Although the Islamic courts are not perfect and harbor Taliban-dreams I think they are 100% better than the selfish warlords.

At least these Islamic courts have done good work for Mogadishu society...and have an ideology that leads them and aren't selfish like the warlords. I support their work 100% as long it stays with religious and social matters...but as soon as they step into the political scene, they will end up like the warlords...hated by the people!

For 15 years these warlords and opportunist businessmen...aka maffiose-style groups have done nothing for Mogadishu society, and are the main obstacle to peace and prosperity for Mogadishu and all of Somalia.

Under normal circumstances (and by normal, I mean a will of the people to be governed by a religous entity) Islam would win. But when up against the indominatable will of a Somali populace who are strategically alligned along clan lines, I see the warlords winning this battle.

and who do you want to systemize the political scene if you don't the wadaado to not step in?? i think you are an opportunist yourself. you want the wadaado to clean the mess for you and reduce them to nothing after the job is done. either let them take charge completely and support them on all fronts i.e social political, economical etc or oppose them and be contented with the 'hated warlords' and continue plunging to further stagnation. choice is yours.
